Tsavo West National Park is known for rugged volcanic landscapes, rolling hills, natural springs and varied wildlife habitats. The park supports elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and rich birdlife, while its scenery is among the most dramatic in Kenya.
Mzima Springs is one of Tsavo West’s most famous attractions. Clear spring water supports hippos, crocodiles, fish and many bird species. Shaded walking paths and viewpoints make it a rewarding stop during a game drive.
The Shetani Lava Flow is a dramatic black lava field formed by past volcanic activity. It creates a striking contrast with the surrounding savannah and provides insight into the park’s geological history.
